Currently im using it to compile C, C++ and Java.įor running the compiled Java class, the script is:Ĭmd /k cd "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)" & "%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" "$(NAME_PART)" & exit This plugin can be used to execute any executable as you would from a command prompt. This is irrespective of which directory you are in. Now any file you are editing a Java file in NPP and you want to compile it, press F6 and choose this script "Java Compile". Ĭmd /c cd "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)" & "%JAVA_HOME%\bin\javac" "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"ģ> Click on "Save" and give it a name say "Java Compile".Ĥ> Bingo. ![]() All you have to do is this:ġ> Navigate to Plugins -> NppExec -> Execute. ![]() I am using the NppExec Plugin to achieve this.
